We checked out the MBS Hotel

One Saturday in September, Aunty Alison booked 2 adjoining rooms at MBS & invited us for a gathering. We decided to satisfy our curiosity & go check out the Sky Garden (which otherwise is chargeable at $20 per pax for non-hotel guests) & the much publicized infinity pool.

Walking along the huge lobby of MBS hotel towards Tower 3 where our room was located...

Rob collected us & up we went to 42nd floor. Here was the view from the lift lobby.

The rooms were comfortable with modern ammenities.

Daddy took the coffee & tea-making job readily, as always.
We snacked on mooncakes & bread. Homemade. What a luxury!

The rooms had balconies which unfortunately overlooked the uncompleted construction.

The Sky Garden Tour

The Infinity Pool

Funny thing the pool was just beside the Sky Garden (which was open to the public by admission tickets),
& naturally became one of the viewing stops. There was absolutely no privacy for hotel guests & onlookers were gawking and commenting on the skyline & the pool (Overheard a woman exclaiming, "Oh, it looks so dangerous, especially for kids, what happens if they fall over????"). Pity the guests who became part of the exhibit. And those who thought the pool was designed such that anyone could even try to fall over. Hai!

Fred checking out locations on the map. He's naturally a navigator who needs to know his bearings,
where's north-facing, south-facing etc.

I took a break on the deck chair.

My grandma & aunties

Well, this kinda completed my exploration of the MBS, from outside & inside. Need to mention a stopover at GUCCI. That was totally inspiring!!! Dun think I need to tour the casino. Ha!
