During the time Fred was between jobs, he seized the opportunity to repaint the wall in the study, directly below the cabinets. We had taken the proposal from our designer to have that wall in 'cappucino' for the 'mood' look. But after some time, we really didn't take to the colour. Plus now the study is just that, totally a study. NOT a spare bedroom. So viola! Now that it's white, we can get into the mood of working on our laptops or just reading.
We've also shifted the carpet from the study into the living area. For the longest time, I felt the carpet was totally out of place in the study. More practical (to protect the flooring) than asthetic. But now that it's sitting in the living, I am completely at peace in my heart. It just agrees with me. Ooooommmm.... peace.
