I grew up on this yummy soup dish that is surprising easy to prepare. Some good leather jacket steak or whole fish...
Lots of spring onions... oh!! my favourite!
Can't do without bean paste.
Fry the ginger & chilli shreds, put in the bean paste & then the fish & allow to boil & simmer.
The soup would be sweetened by the fish & savoury because of the bean paste. No extra flavourings are required. Just add spring onions before serving.
Go with a veg dish like choy sum and clams. Power!
