The lonely planet guidebook I borrowed was kindda outdated. We were disappointed when we just couldn't locate a particular eatery. Hzzz.... aching feet.But we were duly rewarded when, just as described in the guide, the stalls selling yakitori underneath a subway track (Ginza area I think) lured us with the BBQ smell.... It was great fun eating underneath the track and authentic yakitori never tasted better.
Fred was excited and ordered some Japanese sake too!
Notice the stalls with plastic curtains behind Fred. Of course, he looked a little drunk by then. We posed with the V sign to look 'Japanese' ;)
