One Day in September, a Hearty Breakfast to start the Day

 I like to cook this soup with white onions. 
The soup catches the sweetness of the onions & the onions are all caramelized... yums!

 In our home, we alternate fresh spinach with fresh rocket because it's pricey to have a mix (although it is a preferred combination. This week, spinach rules! Still wets the appetite with fresh sliced olives 
& Parmesan cheese.


You guessed it, my fave - chorizo sausage! From Fairprice.
BTW, we've gotten a small toaster & this expands our choices of breakfast since we can toast small food items as opposed to frying in a pan (ahhh... the oil) or turning on the oven just for a couple slices of meat.
