These are short essays, photo and video chronicles of my travels, significant events or just ordinary events with special meaning. These people are my family and friends, whom I dearly love.

2014 in Review: Less Enjoyment but More Joy, Contentment, Strength & Fruits of the Holy Spirit
COSI Trip was difficult with Angel falling ill. I could not do much other than caring for her. Felt quite miserable throughout the trip.
And as for the school party, if it wasn't for her Godma who made cookies for her classmates, the class party would have been ordinary & meaningless. At least, Angel wrote her own love notes to her friends.
So goodbye 2014. To all the highs & more importantly the lows, thank you for life lessons that change the way I view parenting, education, caregiving. Thank you for the continuing learning on acceptance & meaningfulness.
Thank God that I had my BAG friends with me, especially BSE Carol. She made a difference in that trip for me.
This came right after our PERTH trip which was unenjoyable & exhausting for me. Traveling with my in-laws & my young kids were just overly taxing.
But I realized what was really meaningful in the midst of these trials & unhappy moments. We had to do the family trip to PERTH. We had to do the COSI trip too. God allowed them for me to learn precious lessons. Enjoyment is not the only criterion to measure outcome. There are life lessons for me that are more important to my Father in Heaven.
Just like how I took heart that I really don't need to have a party for my kids' birthday when there are more important things to conserve my energy for. A 4 year old truly knew nothing about appreciating her guests nor her mum who planned the party! It became just an opportunity for tantruming which turned out to be unenjoyable for me. sigh!
Finally, Angel's participation in her year end concert marked the end of a hefty expenditure. Much to my relief. She did extremely well in her stage performance. That was a source of great comfort too that she has risen to the occasion as a toddler in her growing up journey.
